Policies
48 Hour Cancellations
All clients are required to provide a minimum of 48 hours notice for any cancellation or rescheduling of appointments. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than 48 hours notice will be considered a late cancellation.
Late cancellations or reschedules may result in a fee equivalent to 50% of the scheduled service.
In case of emergencies or unforeseen circumstances, such as sudden illness or extreme weather conditions, the cancellation fee may be waived one time at the discretion of the business owner. After the one time waive, you will be required to pay a fee equivalent to 50% of the scheduled service.
Cancellations because of your monthly cycle still requires a 48 hour notice.
Dissatisfaction
In the case of any dissatisfaction with a service you have received, I am happy to provide you the opportunity to return to 701 Beauty Bar to redo the service.
For a redo service, you must contact me within 2 business days of the original service. At the time of your redo appointment, I will make every effort to correct the problem to your satisfaction. These adjustments are available to you at no cost within 2 days of your initial service.
Any redo request made after 2 business days from the original service date will cost the full-service price.
701 Beauty Bar does not issue refunds for any service.
No Show
Any client who fails to show up for their scheduled appointment without any prior notification or cancellation will be considered a '"no-show."
No-show appointments may result in a fee equivalent to 100% of the scheduled service cost being charged to the clients account.
Clients who accumulate more than one "no-show" will no longer be able to book their services with 701 Beauty Bar without paying a 50% deposit.
Child Safety
I understand how challenging it is to find time to spend for yourself. We also understand that your “me time” does not always align with your appointments. However, my policy strictly prohibits unsupervised children in the room and waiting area. In the event you must bring a young child into the salon, please provide proper supervision for them in the form of an additional caretaker.
I kindly request ONLY those receiving services be present in the room. Older children, (12+) capable of sitting quietly and unsupervised, may wait in the provided seating area. This policy was created with your child’s safety in mind.
My room is not child-proof. Sharp instruments, hot wax pots, chemicals and a busy, congested area make for a potentially dangerous environment for young children.
Guests who show up to their appointment with unsupervised children who are younger than 12 years old, may have to forfeit their appointment time and will be charged 50% of their service fee.
Underage Guests
Guests must be a minimum of 12 years old to receive specific services. All underage guests, 12-17 years of age, must have an accompanying parent present at all times, & a signed consent form on file, for all & any services performed throughout the duration of the service. In addition, a current email & mobile telephone number for the guardian/parent must be on file, to send confirmations via email, text messaging & emergencies.
Children are not allowed to be dropped off and left without a parent present.
Card on File
In order to book appointments, 701 Beauty Bar requires a credit card on file. All information will be kept confidential & encrypted.
Late Arrival
Clients who arrive late by 5 minutes or more for their scheduled service may be required to reschedule.
Clients that have to reschedule will be considered a last minute cancellation and will be required to pay 50% of the service fee.
